My name is Uzay Demir. I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Vancouver, B.C. I am currently in the Motion Picture Arts Program at Capilano University.
A lover of films growing up, my passion for filmmaking was accelerated through photography, which I picked up in the eleventh grade, and I soon expanded to the discipline of cinematography. In my senior year of high school, I directed and shot several films, with one being selected for many film festivals internationally, such as the Ottawa Youth Film Festival and the Youth Diversity Film Festival in Los Angeles. I am also a multimedia artist, creating traditional and digital works.
